Lovely quiet place beautiful views. Great staff.
Amazing views smaller hi holiday park, very friendly staff
Let's just say that If you expecting the basics that's what you gonna get, we had to ask for more cutlery and plates for a family of five. Another fridge as the first one didn't seem to get cold enough. The pull out bed was like sleeping on a park bench, and the heating in the caravan wasn't working properly as they didn't have a thermostat regulating the temp. No thermostats on the radiator valves, the cAravan was either baking hot or like the arctic. There answer was on for an hour of for an hour. Really come park dean surely you can do better than that. Admittedly they did address the out of date fire extinguisher that I noticed pretty sharpish! And did give us another mattress topper for the pull out bed. Which didn't really make any difference. Overall the holiday experiment was rubbish as when you expect a caravan with at least 4 bedrooms and you get two with a family of 5, and they can't offer another alternative it kinda gets you back up... I will not be going back...
Nodes point is now a park's resort caravan park. Very clean and tidy park with lovely sandy beach just a 5 minute walk away at the edge of the site. Prices as to be expected and aligned with most caravan park holidays. Our caravan was in good condition, tidy and overall clean, some carpet, sofa and curtain marks. Large restaurant area with bar on site, clean and tidy, reasonable prices but quality of food could be better. Indoor swimming pool with slides, ideal for children. Disappointing to find in the first week of September the main lounge bar was closed already. Small amusement area which is mostly unsupervised, which is fine until a machine takes your money or does not pay out. A young lady won a Jackpot on a machine and it did not give her the tickets, they had to wait until the evening to tell someone who basically said tough! There was an amazing entertainer in the entertainment centre who called the top site manager at home to ensure the lady got her tickets. He was amazing with the children and adults ... kept everyone entertained. There were a lot of ferry issues, times changed 3 times and the communication was poor. Isle of white is a great place and good value for money.
Great park, lovely location, helpful staff and well equipped caravans. This time we were in a chalet, it was a bit tired but better for the colder/wetter weather. Our 3yr old loved the kids club and outside play area. Only downsides are you have to be a certain height to use the pool slides, our daughter was too small, there isn't really anything else to do in the pool, and there are no indoor play things bar the arcade. Having said that this is our second visit and we will be back again.
