We had the Falconry Experience, my family absolutely loved it. The staff were really nice and explained everything really well, answering all our questions clearly. The birds were so well trained and friendly, not scary at all like I was expecting.

What a gem! Well worth a visit for an unusually intimate visit with the wide array of birds and owls, ferrets and reptiles. You can take a ferret for a walk for 3. Everything reasonably priced and the staff are so very helpful.

Spent a lovely couple of hours at this Falconry. They have some lovely birds that are clearly well looked after and cared for by the staff. It is a small falconry but for the price it is well worth a visit. The staff were all friendly and happy to talk about the birds and we were able to watch them fly one of the eagles and also hold one of the birds of prey.Overall a lovely experience and also if you go on a warmer day I'm sure it would be lovely to sit and have a picnic in the seating area. Would recommend this for anyone who likes birds of prey.

If you love birds of prey then this lovely little sanctuary is a great place to visit along with the steam engines as well that are in the same place. There are two flying of the birds a day nice little sanctuary out the back where it's just a few quid to get in with you discount flyer from the railway journey. And to be honest the birds of prey really do get up close and personal while you are say at the picnic bench. As the handlers will let the vulture jump into you park bench. It's really good to be able to get that close to such a great Bird of prey.. hats to to the team of three who display the birds.

Visited in November and my partner and mum flew some hawks....came back again this summer and partner held a golden eagle.....it is the most amazing experience and attraction...staff are friendly and happy to talk I can't remember the name of the man who did the talks on the owls or helped us with the eagle but well done to him!! Funny ....always a place we will make a trip to the only downside is being part of the steam railway who charge you just to walk through their attraction yo get to the falconry centre...and they decide what they charge you when they want!!
