Recently enjoyed a delicious Sunday roast,my sister had another dish,both were perfectly done,and ample in size,and reasonably priced. Very attentive service,clean,friendly and helpful. Cosy area for tea/coffee and cake,and a great bar area at rear,with a large garden area with seating,where it's possible to smoke. Highly recommend this hotel,atmosphere is always friendly when I've visited this establishment.
Needs more dairy free and vegan options. Need to move with the times. Lovely staff tho
Peaceful atmosphere and friendly service from all the staff. Good food and wide drinks menu. Pleasant venue and quite traditional.
The room was really lovely and large and surprising considering the decor of the reception. It does feel dated, but the price is very reasonable so is good value for money. The only problem, one of the beds in the triple you could feel the springs in the mattress, which was very uncomfortable for one of us. Apart from that the rooms were clean and big, good amenities just a little dated - but that is reflected fairly in the price.
